F.O.R.T.-cie & FSE Infosession
Wednesday 17 December, 12:30–13:30
Target group: F.O.R.T. & board enjoyers
Even though we have the feeling the year just begun, we are slowly starting to look for enthusiastic students that would like to do a F.O.R.T.-committee year in the academic year 2026-2027. Visiting this presentation comes with no commitment; it is simply a way to learn about what doing a F.O.R.T. year looks like!
As a Japie member you probably have been to the F.O.R.T. before and otherwise you must have heard about it. At our beautiful brown bar, people are always down to drink a beer and have a chat. However. this beer doesn’t appear out of nowhere of course. The bar needs to be kept running by our own eager students! In the past couple of years we have seen a couple of different set ups in how this was organized so how it will look like next year is still open for discussion. Are you interested in the tasks that come with running a bar and would you like to know how you could be a part of it? Then don’t hesitate to stop by!
Secondly, there will also be a presentation given by FSE, who are the umbrella association of all study associations (i.e. associations like Japie) on campus! Doing a board year at FSE is part-time in function, where you will concern yourself with the interests of the study associations and keeping the students' interests at heart. A primary function is arranging contact between the university and study associations and organising fun activities to connect students from different studies, such as the FSE day and even the MomenTUm party! Interested? Then feel free to stop by as well.
