OCI Nitrogen is one of Europe’s marketleaders for nitrogen holding fertilizers and methanol and is worldwide the largest producer of Melamine. The fertilizers of OCI Nitrogen play an essential role in improving the productivity of agriculture to tackle the constantly increasing demand for food in the world. Melamine is used as a raw material for adhesives and resins in many applications such as furniture boards, laminate parquet, coatings and paints and plastic tableware. OCI Nitrogen has the ambition to be the best performing company in both markets.

OCI Nitrogen's head office is located in Geleen (the Netherlands), but they have production locations worldwide. But what is it like to work at OCI Nitrogen? And in particular, what does the work of an engineer look like? What projects are they currently working on? We will discuss this during the lunch lecture on November 27.
