DESCRIPTION:Buenas\, olá\, and hello Japies! In the summer of
	 2026  Japie will take an unforgettable trip thro
	ugh some of the Latino Countries: Argentina\, Braz
	il\, and Uruguay! This trip will have something fo
	r everyone!  Some of the places we will get to vi
	sit some are the top universities and chemical ind
	ustries in South America. These countries have ver
	y strong universities\, as well as large and innov
	ative chemical industries\, thus every excursion p
	romises to be interesting. \n\nBut that’s not al
	l! A number of cultural actives will be arranged a
	long the tour\, allowing you to see each countries
	’ history as well as experience what it is like 
	today. There will be enough downtime so that you a
	nd your fellow participants can explore the city a
	nd country on your own terms. \n\nMore than just t
	he plane tickets and activities are included with 
	the Study Tour. Accommodation for every night\, in
	ter and intra city transport are also included\, a
	s well as pocket money every day of local currenc
	y earmarked for food. To see where your money is s
	pent\, and what is budgeted for\, you can see the 
	budget made for this trip.\n\nBefore going on this
	 trip you are also expected to complete a case stu
	dy. This is a project organized by the Study Tour 
	Committee and comes from a chemical research insti
	tute or company. You will do this project with one
	 other participant under the supervision of a Heli
	x staff member. The details of the project vary\, 
	however it is always around 160 man hours of work 
	per person.  \n\nAdditionally\, the Study Tour C
	ommittee will also host several activities in prep
	aration for the trip. The first one is a “get to
	 know each other” activity\, where you will meet
	 and greet your fellow participants. Up next there
	 are two more activities aimed at getting you more
	 comfortable with the participants and professors 
	you will be traveling with. One of these activitie
	s is a whole weekend away full with fun and games.
	 Finally\, we will make a trip to a company in the
	 Netherlands\, before leaving for our study tour. 
	\n\nIf this sounds interesting\, don’t miss your

	\nPlease Note: In order to join this activity\, yo
	u must have completed the propaedeutic phase of yo
	ur study at the moment of subscription. Dates and 
	details are subject to change. However\, we will l
	eave after the exams and come back before the rese
	ts for no more than 29 days. \n\nFor more details\

	e room\, a draft of the contract will be available
	 soon!\n\nExact dates of study tour are subject to
	 change\, but tour will take place in July 2026.\n
	\nIn the case of over subscription\, a draw will t
	ake place in accordance with the Domestic Regulati
	ons\, specifically article 10.6:\n\n1. Draw catego
	ry A: \n\n	a. The study tour committee\; \n\n	b. O
	ne or more persons\, appointed by the study tour c
	ommittee in consultation with the board\, because 
	they have made a special effort to facilitate the 
	study tour\; \n\n2. Draw category B: \n\n	Ordinary
	 members who have participated in a company visit 
	within the period of one and a half years prior to
	 the draw\, but never in a study tour in accordanc
	e with article 10.1 paragraph 2 of these regulatio
	ns\; 3. \n\n3. Draw category C: \n\nOrdinary membe
	rs who have not participated in a company visit wi
	thin the period of one and a half years prior to t
	he draw\, and never in a study tour in accordance 
	with article 10.1 paragraph 2 of these regulations
	\; \n\n4. Draw category D: \n\nOrdinary members wh
	o have participated in a company visit within the 
	period of one and a half years prior to the draw\,
	 and once in a study tour in accordance with artic
	le 10.1 paragraph 2 of these regulations\; \n\n5. 
	Draw category E: \n\nOrdinary members who have not
	 participated in a company visit within the period
	 of one and a half years prior to the draw\, but n
	ever in a study tour in accordance with article 10
